About me:
I am currently a senior lecturer in economics at Westminster International University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and a guest professor in demographic economics at Gdansk University of Technology, Poland. I am a member of the scientific advisory committee (SAC) at the EHMA-European Health Management Association, a Global Labor Organization fellow, a member of the Global Health Competencies Sub-Committee and SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Taskforce at CUGHConsortium of Universities of Global Health, and an associate editor for the IJTAHC-International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care. I am involved in health policy advisory roles, I have been included in the European Commission’s pool of external experts (No. EX2021D413167); the researcher network of the Knowledge Exchange Unit (KEU), UK Parliament; and the COVID-19 Expert Database under the Australia Academy of Science. Previously, I worked as an assistant professor at the University of Information Science and Technology, “St. Paul the Apostle”, North Macedonia and Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.
I have also worked as a Postdoc Researcher at Dartmouth College, USA, and a research assistant at RWI-Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, Germany. I hold a PhD in Economics from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
