Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is a private university in Malaysia specialised in engineering technology. The university has 14 institutes distributed into 12 campuses across Malaysia. All the teaching is carried out in English language at UniKL, which also emphasises the integration of both hard and soft aspects of technology, aiming to produce technological entrepreneurs and skilled professionals with outstanding communication, technological and managerial skills.
The university was rated as an Excellent (Tier 5) full-fledged university in the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Rating System SETARA’13. The university had more than 15 thousand students in 2019, of which more than three hundred international students, and a more than 1600 faculty members, with a medium research output relative to its size, according to QS World University Rankings.
