About the University:
Universidade Federal de Uberlândia is a public university in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It was founded in 1969 by the merger of four pre-existing faculties into the University of Uberlândia. In 1978 it was federalized and became the current Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. The University had more than 25 thousand students registered in 2018, distributed across seven campuses, four of them in Uberlândia, one in Ituiutaba, one in Monte Carmelo and one in Patos de Minas.
